nMust start with no, or known daughter component – very unlikely
nIt must be an isolated system, i.e. no external loss or addition of parent or daughter components can occur (i.e. no outside influence is allowed, such as heating, percolation of water, or exposure to cosmic radiation, etc.) – very
unlikely over “millions” of years
