independently
nNo other protein
components of cilia and flagella have known functions independent of their role in movement
nThus, all proteins, other
than tubulin in microtubuals, would have
to spontaneously come into existence simultaneously if they were to increase fitness and be selected.
nThat seems like a big
jump!
