The science of archaeology strongly confirms the accuracy of the
Bible. There are many examples of Biblical references which were said to be
unlikely or wrong, only to have archaeology later prove that it was the
critics who were mistaken (for example, witness the 1993 discovery of an
inscription bearing the phase “House of David”, proving that King David was
real). Every significant person and place mentioned in the Bible since the
time of the inhabitation of the Holy Land by the Israelites (following the
exodus from Egypt and the desert wandering) has now been verified.
